What is the advantage of flanges

Flanges are an integral part of many engineering and piping projects. Using flange connections in high pressure environments and larger sizes allows for easy assembly of overused larger fittings. Flanges with zero clearance components are easy to reconnect and disconnect to maintain hose, manifold and pipe connections can be faster and provide the ability to torque bolts more accurately than trying to achieve the proper torque for larger fittings. When there is proper clamping load distribution around the flange head, flange fittings and flange connections are less likely to loosen compared to standard hydraulic fittings.
